Reading List

A short list of books and material that best encompass our mindset and thoughts.

This is the first volume of a two-book series that peels away the metaphors and explains the living tradition of Taoist meditation. The material in here both sets a background for the water method of Taoism we practice, as well as providing plenty of exercises that can help set a baseline for many years of subsequent training.

A great series of books that will help you work through the beliefs you have been handed down.  Take your time with these and become a more original thinker and take your mind back to be your own.

This book  is great to start preparing you for the group work we do. It offers practical methods for working with conflict, leadership crises, stagnation, abuse, terrorism, violence, and other social action issues. It brings an understanding of the psychology of conflict and the knowledge that many disputes can be traced back to inequalities of rank and power between parties, providing tools that will enable people to use conflict to build community.

This is a channeled work. A step-by-step guide to making soul contact and awakening your heart centers. We find it offers a great perspective to connections on a Soul level and fully supports the Taoist water method we study, giving an alternative perspective and way into what ultimately is the same core self.

Originally published in 1998 this book details what is happening to our planet and the reasons for our culture’s blind behavior. The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight helps us understand–and heal–our relationship to the world, to each other, and to our natural resources.
